Relatively Unknown But Very Useful Websites / Online Tools For Bloggers

As a blogger, you have to always try to find easier and faster ways of doing things. In addition, you don’t always have to pay for every service you need. I can assure you that for many paid service on the internet, there is a corresponding free one out there which will do the same job you want.

Since I’ve started blogging, I have been using some free services online. They are all on my bookmarks and I just call upon them whenever I need them. These online tools have really made my life easier as a blogger. One thing that amazed me is how many of these sites are relatively unknown even to many bloggers.

I have compiled 20 most useful of these websites / online tools as far as I am concerned. Hope you will also find them useful too.

1. UNFURLR – with this tool, you can easily find the original URL behind a short URL. That is, the original URL a short URL redirects to.

2. COPYPASTECHARACTER – find & copy special characters that are not available on your keyboard.

3. ICONFINDER – this is one of the best places to find icons of all sizes to make use of on your blog

4. JOLIPRINT – with joliprint, you can easily reformat news articles and blog content as a newspaper

5. CORALCDN – whenever you visit a website and it is down as a result of heavy traffic, try accessing it through coral CDN.

6. PDFESCAPE – this simply lets you edit PDFs in the browser itself simply and quickly.

7. TUBEMOGUL – in case you you ever make a video that you wish to share on many video sites, you cam make your work easier by uploading them simultaneously to YouTube and other video sites using Tubemogul.

8. GOOGLE WEBFONTS – a good collection of open source web standard fonts you can utilize.

9. REGEX – find data hidden in your photographs – see more EXIF tools.

10. WETRANSFER – this is great tool for sharing really big files online.

11. POLISHMYWRITING – you no longer have to check your spelling offline again with MS Word, you can check your writing for spelling or grammatical errors.

17. GOOGLE HISTORY – you can get back searches you’ve done on Google and pages you’ve clicked in search results. In short, it contains the history of the searches you have made on Google.

18. STUPEFLIX – Mix photos, video, music and create stunning videos from them in seconds.

19. NORTON SAFEWEB – check the trust level or how safe a website is before you visit them. It helps in preventing sites that can infect you with malware.

20. WOORANK – research any website from the SEO perspective.
