SIMPLE JAVASCRIPT HACK TO EDIT ANY WEBSITE INSIDE YOUR WEB BROWSERS

This javascript simply let’s you edit any website content right there inside your own browser.

I don’t want to call it a wonder but whatever this simple javascript code performs is really great and interesting. Sometimes while writing some articles for blog posts, I get faced with the need to hide some figures on screenshots that I create. Especially from my admin panel. If I need to make a screenshot in my admin panel to make the tutorial I’m composing clearer, my version of WordPress might show up in the resulting screenshot and no blogger wants this.

In case you don’t know, it might be a security hole especially if a particular security issue had been detected in that version. You can also simply remove the version of your WordPress or whatever information you want to conceal by colouring that part with a photo editor but some people don’t like their screenshots defaced. Some claim that it makes people think you stole the picture and then colour it to cover up.

With this javascript, just edit whatever content you wish to change right there in the browser and create your screenshot.

HERE IS HOW TO USE THE CODE:

1. Navigate to the page you wt to edit.

2. Copy the following code into the ADDRESS BAR

javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0

3) Now click on the part of the page you want to edit and start changing, deleting and adding text/image .

Then you are all done.

I only illustrated how I’ve been able to apply this code. Let me know how creative you are. Let me know what you have been able to do with this. MAKE YOUR COMMENTS!
